Re: TP Argues That You And I Never Earned Income
I'm late to the party, but thought I would add my 2 cents. TPs often mention that the IRC does not define income, as if that were a bug in the statute. It is, in fact, a feature. Congress did not overlook defining income. The Congressional Record shows that the decision not to define income was disc...

Re: Subway man Jared Fogle
Fogle's argument was not by any stretch of the imagination a sovcit argument. The judge saw the word "sovereign", used with its standard meaning by the way, embedded in an argument too sophisticated for Pate to pull off, and didn't bother to read the rest of the motion. The argument was th...

Re: Taxpayer Advocate Want IRS To Identify Friv Arguments To Taxpayer
The IRS already has such a due process procedure in place, or at least it did two years ago when I last checked. The only problem I have noticed with the procedure when innocent taxpayers are involved is the longstanding one of miscommunication, either between the IRS and the taxpayer or within the ...

Bikle has moved to Hawaii to see if that state would let him drive without a license. Alas, no. His latest YouTube video is of the hearing on his motion to dismiss his no license/no insurance case for lack of jurisdiction. The court didn't buy his argument that the summons issued to him by the cop w...

Re: Hendrickson Conviction Aff'd; Sentencing Remanded
Notice that the trial court judge specifically acknowledged that he (the judge) understood the distinction that Hendrickson always makes about the terms "income" and "wages" -- that Hendrickson does not claim that "wages are not income," but that Hendrickson instead cl...

.....No need to have a form signed by the taxpayer, willingly or otherwise..... There also is no need, in the case of the U.S. federal income tax, to have a form signed by the taxpayer. Indeed, there is no need for the government to "file" a return on behalf of the taxpayer (although the ...

Re: Pete & Doreen Hendrickson in Tax Court
I tried to find some mention of this on Lost Horizons. I can't find an archive of the LH newsletter to see if Pete mentioned filing the petition in March, but if he had, there would have been some forum postings concerning it, at least by Harvester/Libre/Homie. It's almost as if Pete didn't want the...

Larken Rose's crowd funding project
Larken Rose has noticed that if someone does not immediately reject his ideas as idiotic, he can eventually wear that person down and convince him that anarchy is workable. At least that's what I got out of the 8 minutes of his video that I watched. So he is trying to develop an interactive virtual ...

Oh, but wait. I have bound paper copies of Package X -- does anyone here remember Package X? I have those from the year 1979 to whichever year the IRS stopped printing them. They're in a box somewhere in my garage. Ah, the good old days. With a Package X and a Publication 17 I was unfazeable. On an...

Rumpel, again, why don't you interpret it yourself and make an offer? Example: "Would this & this constitute a rebuttal?" Ngupo, you're in a debate, not a negotiation. You don't get to decide what constitutes a rebuttal. That's up to your audience. Your current audience comprises lite...

There are no dildos in Texas
I was surprised to learn earlier today that it is a felony to sell a dildo in Texas. Moreover, if you possess more than 5 dildos, the presumption is that you are a dealer. As a result, there are no dildos in Texas. There are "educational aids", vibrators and "cake toppers" (wtf?)...

It would be great if Judge Buch could review CTC on Amazon. He may not consider that appropriate. A review citing to Buch's opinion would be a good second best.

PAM's indictment indicated that no interpreter would be needed. I wouldn't be so sure. I'm also less sure that PAM will pass the competency hearing. Re: The Last Bastille: critical commentary on Sovran/Freemen
In part, it comes from the Sovrun notion that every judge in the country is in on the secret trust accounts. All the Sovrun has to do is mention the secret accounts. That let's the judge know that the Sovrun knows his rights and that the jig is up. Of course, <sarcasm>sometimes</sarcasm> that doesn'...

If you look at every single tax statute that has been upheld, I found each law was directed with regard to a specific privilege ... Except 26 USC 1, which taxes income from whatever source derived. As you have noted, "26 USC 1 (c) mentions no specific business, trade, profession, anything."

I think in light of Economy and 7426, in the event my bank informs me my deposits have been seized, if I can not convince the bank to return my money, I just might be able to prevail in a civil case and maybe I can show the District Attorney a criminal complaint. I believe any tax imposed with regard to (on) income must either count and divide or define an activity and determine a rate per unit. I do not believe 26 USC 1 (c) does either. And you are wrong. I have no idea what you mean when you say a tax on income must "count and divide". It seems ...
