3 months to wait for judgement, his legal adviser has been posting updates on this board: http://thunderboat.boards.net/thread/632/leigh-ravenscroft-crt?page=36 Interesting, thanks. It's a long while since I watched Colon's video of the boat seizure but I seem to remember that "Cockroach"...

Re: The Crawfords Keep Looking For A Unicorn

I think Tom does and has always understood the particulars of his mortgage, its just that when facing a shortfall caused by his and Sue's own decisions he decided that it wasn't fair that he had to pay interest, and then latched onto the "I've paid 3 times what I borrowed, I made every payment...

Re: The Crawfords Keep Looking For A Unicorn

... Question: Was the endowment portion of those loans a life insurance policy? IOW, if the borrower died, say, five years into the loan, would the endowment have paid the entire principle balance? Also, IIRC, Tom got his loan in 1988. Surely interest rates have come down since then. It would seem ...

Re: The Crawfords Keep Looking For A Unicorn

There was a time when an endowment mortgage seemed to be a very good product. The return on investments were such that practically speaking there was no question that the loan would not be covered and it was simply a matter of how much extra the investment would generate as a"bonus". Lende...

Re: The Crawfords Keep Looking For A Unicorn

As others have said, B&B did not change the mortgage. There was a slight complication because they also borrowed a few thousand pounds in addition to the original mortgage and that was a repayment type. However, leaving that to one side for clarity; as we know Tom took out an endowment mortgage ...

Re: Losing Your Home, Crawford Style

One other key issue that the Crawfrauds don't seem to grasp is that in the general scheme of things, the existence of a warrant of possession is not that critical to him losing his home. The warrant is simply an authorisation from the Court to execute the Order of Possession which is the product of ...

Wasn't there some talk last year about GOODF getting accreditation from the FCA? I doubt this is what Colon had in mind (assuming he had anything).

Re: Losing Your Home, Crawford Style

One of the basic problems all along is that Tom et al have no understanding of the purpose of a Warrant of Possession. They (choose to?) equate it with an arrest warrant "sworn out" by a judge when in fact a Warrant of Possession it is simply an instruction from the court for a bailiff to ...

No, it's eye of newt and toe of frog. Doesn't anyone know the proper incantations these days :snicker:

The effectiveness of tongue of bat is being cynically covered up by "Big Pharma" who control the whole toe of frog market.

Re: Mark "Ceylon" Haining, Goofy GOODFer

Does Mark post about not paying debts to banks anymore ? Since they tried to go legit, he just seems to post nonsense about cancer cures. He forgets about Tom being on the NHS. Mark seems to have toned down his posts in the last few months. Could he be on his way out.... ? But even Tom was convince...

Re: Losing Your Home, Crawford Style

Isn't there a YouTube video before the eviction, where Tom says 'we this morning received a warrant for possession'? Tom would not have received a warrant of possession. They are not issued to the occupier of the property. I have no doubt that he received a notice of eviction. Subsequently when the...

Re: Losing Your Home, Crawford Style

It shouldn't be a surprise that Tom is incapable of understanding the intricacies of any of his court cases. He had already demonstrated that he was unable to understand the much more simple fact that in surrendering the endowment policy he (and/ or Mrs Crawford) had been the author of his own downf...

I watched it in its entirety earlier today. It is essential viewing. It really does illustrate what a thicko the man is. As seen on the video posted upthread it is also the excuse for refusing to pay taxes etc but claiming every benefit that they can get their hands upon.
