Re: Robert 'Crab Bait' White consents to lose his house

I gather Crab Bait has now heard from the Land Registry that a restriction's been registered against his property. He's decided to report the Land Registry to the Information Commissioner because he didn't agree to his information being disclosed - to clarify, he's talking about information held on ...

Yes indeed, you beat me to it. It comes as no surprise that these numpties are consumers of a substance known to impair critical thinking.

That's rather a nice Range Rover he's got parked on the drive.

Re: Rekha Patel loses her house

The extent of the horrendous botch job the builder did on the roof is obvious even from this picture.

Re: Rekha Patel loses her house

You can see her files and computer that she used for her amazing research. Clearly its been left in a "get out now" state. Usually when a house is taken into possession the previous owner's given the chance to go back, accompanied by the estate agent, to remove their stuff. In this case, ...

This'll end well. Some kind of fake bank account shenanigans to access your 'birth certificate trust' through PayPal. From what I know of PayPal, there will be consequences.

Re: Robert 'Crab Bait' White consents to lose his house

Remember how this ended up for Jimmy One-Cell. He ignored the Trustee, so the court issued a warrant for his arrest for contempt of court. He ended up spending a night in the cells at the local police station (or, according to him, doing a 'stretch' in prison where he ended up - in the space of one ...

Re: Rekha Patel loses her house

Wow. A rare case of an actor who should quit their day job. His writing is atrocious. He seems not to have been taught the most basic techniques, like "inverted pyramid" and "punctuation." Which is fine if you're a naturally engaging writer, but he isn't. Quite the opposite. He ...

Re: Rekha Patel loses her house

Oh dear... A lot of evidence explaining the presence of the thackstones, their destruction by Princess Snowflake's first builder, and the crude flashing installed by her second builder to cover that area. Filed, date-stamped and verified through local planning systems. And now she wants to say that...

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls

We don't use title insurance in the UK. Because most land is registered, the Land Registry entries are meant to be the reassurance you need that the title is in order. At first registration, the Land Registry will enter onto the Property Register anything contained in the deeds that affects the prop...

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls

I think the UK practice in civil cases is costs are actual costs, but the person paying them can have the costs bill taxed, which means an applocation to a Taxing Master who decides, basically, if the costs are reasonable and can adjust the amount awarded. I may be well out of date on this. You are...

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls

I can understand people turning to McKenzie Friends for help - there's virtually no legal aid any more and there's a general perception that solicitors are outrageously expensive and do nothing for you anyway - so why not use the equivalent of a bloke down the pub who only charges half of what you'...

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls

I'm aware of McKenzie Friends but I didn't realize you could be paid for it. Having now Googled it, it's a nice little earner if you can get away with it although to my untrained eye he seems to be offering actual legal advice for money which I would assume to be a different matter altogether. Than...

It would appear so, but I doubt if we're being told the whole story here.

Re: Rekha Patel loses her house

Search on land registry shows No.81 last sold in Oct 2010 (£165K). I'm not sure whether it just takes time to update or whether this shows that the recent sham sale(s) were not valid. Now the Land Registry's electronic, registrations don't take long at all these days. I'm guessing the holders of th...

Re: Sovrun Paraleguls

Burnaby said "growlers" :snicker: I'm glad to see that more courts and companies are sending FOAD letters rather than just round-filing the sovruns' nonsense. Ignoring them seems to encourage them. There's no such thing as 'ignoring' in the FOTL world. By not responding you are considered...

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.

Okay, so from looking at the court papers posted upthread, I know what's gone on here. I deal with this all the time at work. What's happened here is that Tobe had a BTL mortgage and got into arrears. Whether this was because the tenant didn't pay the rent or he just didn't pay the mortgage, who kno...

Re: Chrisy Morris - Parking Tickets and Bailiffs.

Much talk about this in the office today, as I'd urged everyone to watch it. I thought it lacked context and showed Chrisy in a far better light than I'd have expected. My colleagues who knew nothing about FOTL just thought he was a thug out for a fight. And those of us who know the backstory (I'm t...
