Re: Tom Crawford failed judgment 3/9/15 Part 1 & 2

I do not think that demonstrators and dissidents realise how helpful they are being when they all wave their phones around. It's like a multi-angled 3d mapping of everyone present, and everything done by those people. From the police perspective they've never had such helpful collaborators as the m...

Re: Tom Crawford failed judgment 3/9/15 Part 1 & 2

Hardly a win It was obvious looking at the videos on the day of the eviction that they only arrested him to get him out of the way. Iirc one or two on here even predicted the charges being dropped (which may well have happened if not for subsequent silliness like the rooftop 6 fiasco). To a degree ...

Exactly, Pox. I'm not defending banks here , I've no vested interest in them, but they're all to frequently being used as a convenient excuse. To many people behave irresponsibly, run up huge debts, try to shirk them, at vast cost to the rest of us, mumble something about banks, then rinse and repe...

Re: Are the Banks/government to blame for the rise in sites like GOODF

Of course financial institutions were helped out in their hour of need. How much of that need was caused by intentionally bad debtors, like Tom? Don't mistake me, when a bank acts illegally then I'm all for punishing it, so I'm not trying to paint banks, or other institutions as angelic bastions of...

No, but we're forced to pay 100 times more than his bad debt to cover the costs of his antics

Re: Are the Banks/government to blame for the rise in sites like GOODF

As I said, shortfalls or overspends in Police funding is covered by the Home Office, not the NHS. There's a guy, he lives in London and his name is Goerge, perhaps you've heard of him, it's his fault your local NHS didn't have enough of a Mental Health services budget this year. We're not talking NHS

Re: Are the Banks/government to blame for the rise in sites like GOODF

That's not how local government funding work, if the Police save £3 by not having a cup of tea while standing outside Tom's former homet. Police operations, CT evasion, etc the last few years has cost approx. £17m more than your £3 cup of tea. which was probably set it 2013 or 2014 & what was h...

Re: Are the Banks/government to blame for the rise in sites like GOODF

That's not how local government funding work, if the Police save £3 by not having a cup of tea while standing outside Tom's former home, it doesn't mean that money becomes available for the homeless unit. No, but if moneys cut from one place, and spent in another it can be contributory to damage ca...

Are you saying because of Tom Crawford, this man died?

I'm saying without the money wasted on the Crawford's it might be different, because that money would have been available to be spent elsewhere.

Actions have consequences.

This isn't harmless stuff.

You said that ....... No one "needs" to be homeless, but the fact is many people are, and more are because of freemen. It's a fact" Have you got figures that prove this? I gave you figures further up, the budget for homelessness, emergency housing and CAB have been slashed and are lo...

Here's a little fact for you, letissier14. More tax payers money has been spent on policing and legal costs for the Crawford case than will be spent this year, in this city, on homelessness and emergency housing (& in relation to your earlier comment given to CAB). How many more people could ha...

Re: Are the Banks/government to blame for the rise in sites like GOODF

I don't agree that Freemen damage the economy Who do you think paid the police bill at the Crawford farces? Who pays when someone avoids their debts? The cost of fraud in this country is huge. It's an old fact, but still relevant, that if the cost of crime was recouped and shared proportionally pov...

No.

But I would say the behaviour of Freemen, and the damage done to our economy by the tactics of sites like GOODF do have an impact on others that perpetuates the problem.

At £25 per ticket, I wonder how much Colon is taking as a cut for it to be on GOODF  Probably just doing it so he can associate himself. Haining is a small man desperate to be a big man who'll attach himself to anything if it makes him feel more important, more intelligent, or relevant. It's...
