Wserra has actually admitted that the pill just might do what it does, though only on older machines, but still, it is a victory for me. From having been 100% sure that it is impossible to admitting some effect on some machines. I realize that English is not your first language, but I express mysel...

Checking the granddaddy of the Dorean civil cases, United States v. Dorean and Dim Duo, 05-2730 (NDCA), for recent events: a lot of folks are moving to modify the injunction (against transferring any of the properties) so as to be able to reconvey from the Duo back to the original owners. Some are s...

According to The Street , the SEC has begun an informal inquiry as to USANA. To be fair, these informal inquiries frequently do not result in regulatory action, but do make potential investors queasy. As for people who would pay USANA for the privilege of selling its products - well, they probably ...

Re: Canadian Competition Bureau

By the way, what´s the criteria to get a 10 min. show on "World Business Review"? Pay them. The featured companies pay for the "privilege". See http://www.motherjones.com/news/outfront/1997/05/jeffery.html . On their own web site , they admit they're just a glorified infomercial...

A WestLaw search shows that SCOTUS has cited to Black's 181 times. Of those 181, 166 occurred in the last thirty years.

They don't make judges like they used to.

The "motions" are easy - the judge can refuse to hear any more, or (probably better) just summarily deny them as they come along. My guess is that there are lingering questions about competency.

It already exists. It's called the "Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report", or "MMWR". The CDC does it.

Interesting. It will be worth following the progress of this suit. USANA's lawyer - Parr Waddoups of Salt Lake City - is a respectable firm, and they have just moved to bring in pro haec vice three lawyers from Shugart Thomson, another respectable (and larger) firm. I've put up a copy of the complai...

Demo - those links don't work. I took a look at Cryer's requested jury instructions (on PACER). He requests a charge on the anti-injunction act. Why, you may ask (as I did)? Then you come on a couple of others - specifically, how one must make up his own mind as to whether paying taxes is required, ...

Jim Rivas on Emerald Passport: "Never Mind"
