If it is not honoured, the bank will be shut down for piracy currency illegal trading, the staff will be issued with treason notices, removal from office, seizure of assets from proceeds of crime, forfeiture of prosperity, banishment from community - which will be the messy option I'd love to ask h...

Re: An All-New Deep Knight Adventure

I remember my one encounter with Pyongyang Pete. I was in the Raffles Hotel, in Singapore (Illuminati business), enjoying their world-famous Singapore Slings. I had just drained my second when Pete walked in and said "hello, Yankee Dog!" Now, I've got nothing against dogs; but being born a...

It's almost impossible to be convicted of treason, in the US. You either have to be "levying war" -- that's a shooting war, folks -- against the US or any of its parts (even, say, Guam); or you have to be adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. That doesn't mean that someo...

Squatloosian Troll is just the latest in a long line of people who comes here, and tries to use what Stephen Law, in his excellent book "Believing Bullshit", calls "The Blunderbuss" and "Moving The Semantic Goalposts" to evade having to admit that he came here and faile...

My daughter is planning on relocating to Dallas, some time next year (my wife and I are advocating for Maryland/Virginia, which is a day's long drive away, but Lindsay isn't biting). Her friend, who already lives just north of Dallas, reports that some gas stations have no gasoline left.

Have to say I'm surprised. She seems pretty flight risk to me.

Why? After all, she has weapons in her legal arsenal which will make the Ebil Minions of the Big Gummint fold up their false court, and slink away in total defeat.

Just ask her.

Yup; and considering what these gormless buffoons spew out, online, they are well familiar with the substance.

Alexander Godoy scribbled, among other things, the following phrase:

"his voluntary act and deem"

It's always a hoot when ten-cent minds try to use ten-dollar words.

On Friday, my wife and I are heading down into Virginia, from where we will drive to an area southwest of Knoxille to watch the eclipse. Maybe I ought to watch my e-mails, in case I get word that other worthwhile entertainment is available in Knoxville itself. :D

I have Canadians on both sides of my family. Some emigrated there from England; and some from a collateral branch headed to New Brunswick after the American Revolution. One of them was Saint John's first tanner; and he and others are buried in the Loyalist Cemetery. To top it off, my paternal step-g...

My daughter was just in Manchester for my nephew's wedding (his bride is from Salford). I should have had Lindsay swing by Thackstone Cottage for the kind of entertainment she'll never get anywhere else; but instead she headed for London via the Harry Potter World attraction.
