Well, I protested, anyway.

In 2011 I filed an amended 2006 return for my late mother's "B" trust. (Because the amendment involved the Foreign Tax Credit, it was timely.) After an exchange of letters, ....

In January 2013 I got a call from the Los Angeles Appeals office, saying the amended return would be processed.

In December 2014, I got the check.

I figure I earned about $2/hour....
