IRS rules too stiff for Congress

IRS employees were given the deadly sins, but these are too stiff for congressional staffers:

Not to jump to the defense of the oligarchs but the IRS's track record of errors warrants caution.

The idea that someone in the IRS could effectively remove congressional staffers by simply contesting their tax filings would be a chillingly dangerous precedent.

Having said that, why hasn't the IRS taken the appropriate steps to pursue them and recover the amounts owed?

It stinks of typical Washington elitism.
