Quatloos!

I remember the Dakotas and Wyoming being in the top 5 states to live based on per capita income vs debt and other factors such as housing and cost of living. Apparently theres areas there where there had been a decent influx of capital in the past few years and had thrived and real estate had never gone through the boom and bust cycle like all the "good" states did. I was actually looking into moving there with the kids when the current issues with my ex started right before my surgery earlier this year that kinda foiled all my plans.
