Antonin Scalia Dead

Post by NYGman »

http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/13/politics/ ... index.html

Thought it worth a mention, this is a interesting development in the makeup of the court. Without being political, I have to sy I respected Scalia for his steadfast views, even if I did't always agree with him. No question he will be a memorable SCJ, when we look back at this court, in the years to come.

RIP Scalia

A huge shock in so many ways to the US power structure. Plus he had a large family, he was much appreciated by every one who knew him though they may have disagreed with his decisions. I wish the best for his family during this time of grief.

Sorrow in his passing - and in missing further experiences where he and Justice Ginsberg would appear to shed light on the issues.

In a word, irreplaceable.

Those are not important questions, an there is nothing troubling about a man who is nearly 80 years old, still works a demanding schedule, has had health problems for years dies in his sleep.

If he had gone to the restroom an a steakhouse in Manhattan and not come back, his body later found on the bank of the East River, that's troubling and unexpected. What really happened is he died of natural causes. Can we not just let the man rest in peace?

I have heard this before - almost the same words:

From the thread on Justice Scalia's death, and possible murder - someone posted:

"Can I point out that people dying in their sleep is quite common.
Thought I'd better post something, or the thread might get hijacked by the xenophobes, homophobes, and conspiracy nutters..."

(I liked this response to that post):

You are right, and that may have happened.
But examine the evidence - why are they so quick to call it "natural causes" and cremate the body?
It reminds me of 9/11 when they quickly removed all the evidence

"conspiracy nutters..."

I will remind you, I am NOT a THEORIST - pushing out a theory or explanation without evidence,
I am a Reality Researcher. You should know by now that corporate media lies about almost everything
and has weaponized the phrase "conspiracy theorist" to cover their tracks.

We need to FORCE them to provide solid evidence to back what might be Cover stories.
To keep them honest, we all need to become Conspiracy Researchers, since it is in the Nature of Elites
to conspire to hold onto their wealth and power !

Do you doubt that?

With absolutely no evidence to support the answers they'd like. As Gregg wrote, there was nothing suspicious about Scalia's death. There was nothing suspicious about the collapse of the WTC. That doesn't stop places like Infowars from finding everything suspicious. It's how they make money.
Some troubling EVIDENCE... is now being revealed:
If you cherry-pick the data, you can always find something "troubling". It's a complex world. However, reliable conclusions aren't reached by cherry-picking data. They're reached by viewing the evidence as a whole. Justice Scalia was an elderly man with long-standing health problems who died in his sleep. Terrorists flew large passenger jets into the WTC. Nothing conspiratorial for people who aren't invested in conspiracies.
But examine the evidence - why are they so quick to call it "natural causes" and cremate the body?
Wild-ass guess here: because that's what his family wanted.
It reminds me of 9/11 when they quickly removed all the evidence

Actually, the truth is, Justice was having a huge party in his room, with Hookers and Blow. The reason they wanted to cover up this fact, so the quickest way to do so was to cremate him quick, Otherwise the Viagra and Coke would show up in his drug tests, and put his whole legacy in question. The cover up was simply to protect his good name. :sarcasmon:

In reality, you could come up with any outlandish, unproven theory as to why someone did something, when you think evil forces are in play, these reasons will reflect your paranoia.

In the end, Gregg is spot on. Nothing to see here, Pay your respects, and move along.

First off, Scalia was 80, or close enough to not matter, he had a looong history of health issues, heart and blood pressure certain to be among them, he was working most all the time, and was of what my grandmother called a bilious constitution. I'm actually more surprised that he hadn't stroked out at any point over the last year. At any rate, him dieing in his sleep is no great shock at his age, the fact that he complained of NOT feeling well at dinner and went early to bed is an even better indicator of what was happening, that his heart was shutting down.

I'm sorry, I see "Reality Researcher" and all that comes to mind is flaming nutter.

I have news or you, real news, it is not the media that has weaponized "conspiracy theorist" in the public's mind, it is the conspiracy theorists themselves who did all the heavy lifting, and provided the irrefutable proof, that the majority, if not most all of them, have proven themselves to be exactly what they are perceived as,
raving clueless lunatics.

Point of truth, just because YOU cannot conceive of something happening in a specific way or fashion, does not preclude it from doing so or having done so. To put it bluntly, most of reality is outside of your experience or kenning, and for you to be making assumptions about things you know nothing about is the height of ignorance.

Let's face it, tens of thousands of people in Manhattan and Arlington Virginia (where I myself was on 9/11) saw planes fly into buildings, it was LIVE ON NATIONAL TELEVISION ffs, and the "reality researchers" think that its suspicious that flying airliners into skyscrapers might actually cause them to fall down.....and any "reality researcher" with the research skills of a half literate 8th grader should be able to find that preparing a 110 story building, no, two 110 story buildings, with a combined daily population of nearly 100,000 people for "controlled demolition" without any, or any less than about 99,000 of them noticing something amiss is impossible.

But screw all that. I was, as I said, stuck in traffic on George Washington Parkway on 9/11, listening to stories about them flying planes into buildings in NYC when I saw Flight 77 fly over my head and into the Pentagon with my phucking eyes, so don't try to tell me it was a missile, or that it never showed up on the radar at Dulles, or that the security camera that showed the impact was doctored. I was there, I saw it. And I'm not mistaken, I was at the time and still am a licensed pilot, I was less than 1000 yards from the building and unless your pet theory has some kind of chem-trail based dream sequence for eyewitnesses in it, it won't fly with me.

Really?
It never happened before - they are built to withstand such shocks

And answer this:
+ Why did the Towers dustify in the way down?
+ What happened with the other Tower, the one that was not hit?
+ Why was all the evidence removed so quickly?

Do you still believe in the tooth fairy?

"Have you ever heard of Occam's razor?"

To apply Occam's razor, you really need to look at all the evidence,
not just accept the explanation you are fed.
That's what Sherlock Holmes did.
He solved his cases by looking past the obvious things, and seeking a bigger and deeper understanding.
He was certainly a Reality Researcher, or even a Conspiracy Researcher

The real point of Occams Razors is to examine ALL THE FACTS, including the seemingly contradictory ones, before coming to any conclusions about what might have happen.

When some shocking news occurs, and we are fed an immediate explanation (without any solid evidence), I know it is probably an official lie, designed for an Action > Reaction > Solution type effect.

Are you really to dim to see how often we are being played?

It may or may not have happened with Scalia - but there is something just too convenient about this death happening now. I definitely believe that Puppet Obama has been told that he must deliver Gun Control within his term. And this looks like a pathway that someone thought might get gun control laws passed before 2016. Still, this convenient fact-of-limited-Time does not mean this was a murder. We have to examine all the facts. and realize that evil people DO MURDER and they do conspire.

I am locking the thread. The point of this subject was the news that Scalia died, not to get into a pointless discussion of whether Scalia was the victim of a conspiracy. Given that we have veered off into 9/11, another topic that has been beaten to death in demonstrating that any nut can prolong stupidity, it is obvious that this thread has gone past its shelf life.
