US Navy Yard

US Navy Yard

I'm sure all of you have heard the news by now. The Naval Yards in DC were attacked by one, possibly two, shooters at 0820. The count that I last read was 12 fatalities and 12 wounded. One shooter has been killed and identified.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The FBI has identified the dead suspect in Monday’s shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard as Aaron Alexis, a 34-year-old military contractor from Texas.
The Navy has also issued a statement.

The Washington Navy Yard remains closed to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

Washington Navy Yard personnel are being released following interviews by the FBI. Once they are released, they will be transported to the Washington Nationals Stadium, Parking Lot B, South Capitol & N St SE or the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Emergency Family Assistance Center.
My thoughts and prayers to all the families affected by this act of senseless violence.
Disciple of the cross and champion in suffering
Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption
Pardon your mind through the chains of the divine
Make way, the shepherd of fire

Avenged Sevenfold "Shepherd of Fire"
