I put this here as it is a scam of sorts, a serial lawsuit scam to be precise, and because I'd never seen a lawsuit for that big of a number before. This makes the gold bond crowd look like pikers.

Anton Purisima of New York, is suing, in Manhattan District Court, well just about everybody he can think of because he allegedly got the tip of his finger bitten off. A partial list of the defendants includes Au Bon Pain, Carepoint Health, Hoboken University Medical Center, Kmart Store 7749, St. Luke's Emergency Dept., New York City Transit Authority, City of New York, NYC MTA, LaGuardia Airport Administration, Amy Caggiula, and a further cast of unnamed thousands.

He has filed a number of similar suits in the last few years, which is why this one stands out.

"Lowering the Bar" and "What If" have already considered the problem of finding enough ready currency to satisfy an adverse judgement;

Well, if I were filing a lawsuit which had as much chance of going forward as we have of Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage topping the Democratic ticket in 2016, against Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow for the GOP, I'd probably ask for 15 centillion dollars, or something like that.
