Roy Fritts and Rick Prescott

Post by tracer »

Hi all!

I've been notoriously absent from Quatloos for some time now, due to the vital importance of getting my World of Warcraft characters to level 70.

However, it occurs to me that there's still one old loose-end in my life that I'd like to get up-to-date with. Namely:

What has happened to Roy Fritts and Rick Prescott since they were indicted back in 2005? I assume their trials have taken place by now. Were either of them convicted/sentenced/turned into pillars of salt?
I got conned by NTS, e.i.e.i.o.

He's Christopher Holloman Hansen's brother.

As a reminder Chris Hansen is the ex-defense contractor / tax protester in San Diego, while Christopher Hansen is the tile layer / tax protester in Nevada.

Well, it is now 30-May-2007, one day after the scheduled court date. Do we know who won?

(I should also mention that I've only gotten ONE of my World of Warcraft characters to level 70 in the intervening time. I've been spending most of my time getting my new paladin to level 63. My guild needs a tank, you see.)

Naw, Leeroy Jenkins was Holy specced. (Though you'd never guess it from his behavior.)

My paladin is Protection specced -- which means that if he ever did what Leeroy did, he'd actually survive the experience. (Seriously, prot. paladins spend most of their time killing monsters by having 6 or 7 of them pound on the paladin at once and basically kill themselves from all the reactive damage.)

Oh, and since paladins are knights who are upholders of the light, I decided to name mine ... Lightsaber.

Now now. There are RPG players, and then ... there are LARPers.
