That's about as close as he's gonna get to the Midwest.

There's an e-mail saying he might have been hit on the road. Supposedly, he was on the phone with a contributor somewhere west of Houston on I-10. A truck and trailer swerved, and Schulz' van was struck from behind by an 18-wheeler. May be in a Houston hospital.

I did a search, nothing for I-10, but several other accidents were listed in the Houston area. This suggests that there were no serious injuries in Schulz's accident.

Folks, we'd better get our alibis straight before someone accuses us of arranging this.

Here's the result of a Google search:
REPORT THAT BOB SCHULZ OF WE THE PEOPLE CONGRESS INVOLVED IN TEXAS AUTO ACCIDENT

Subject: Prayers for Bob Schulz [Report of Vehicle Accident]
Importance: High

[3:56:26 PM] Gary Franchi: Bob Schulz Pulling into East Houston Regional Hosp.

A semi truck crashed into the back of Bob's minivan while he was driving east on I-10 heading toward Houston.

We are trying to find his whereabouts. He's seems to be in serious trouble and is going to need emergency medical treatment.

Gary Franchi was talking to him on the phone when the accident took place. A dilapidated pickup truck with a trailer swerved into his lane and he was forced to break and a semi-truck plowed into the back of his minivan.

Any help would be appreciated.

There's an 800 emergency roadside number which we've been trying to use but it's busy: 800-525-5555

Just to clarify, Bob was heading westbound on I-10 in Texas heading toward Houston.

He did NOT stay in Jackson MS last night.

Looks like I was wrong about the direction and whereabouts.

EDIT: In the comments it says he was treated and released on Monday (I believe).

...... while he was driving east on I-10 heading toward Houston...... Gary Franchi was talking to him on the phone when the accident took place.
In other words, he was doing one of the stupidest things you can do while driving on a highway (worse: text-messaging while driving; Maryland had to enact a law to prohibit this!).

I was in Texas, helping a friend who is moving to Houston, we were moving a pickup load of boxes, a trailer with a selection of bowflex machines and 1300 gallons of fuel oil. I have witnesses!

I thought there was going to be a special ops team from CIA handling this one. Are we going to have to let MI-6 do the job right? I remember how Nord Davis in his "magnum opus" on the IRS--Sui Juris, suggests that one of his friends was poisoned by government agents when they stopped at a diner for dinner and apple pie, Phil Marsh, if memory serves, who suffered a "suspicious" heart attack.

I can think of many legal maneuvers to get Schulz that would stand up in court.

Isn't there enough evidence to arrest Schulz--conspiracy, fraud, illegal tax protesting? I thought NY was a tough state to be a resident of, and be involved in this illegal activity.

Sp I take it this will be rescheduled. Wonder how many in the audience are agents from AUSC CI.
