These people con Canadian and American investors into buying investments that promise returns of 3% per month.

Come on people, give your heads a shake.

I'm looking for anyone who had heard, seen or read any info about a real estate deal in Saskatchewan, Canada being promoted by an outfit called Clear Vistas LP. Seems too good to be true. Comments or advice?

My only concern is that they talk about leveraging RRSPs as one way to participate. RRSPs (Registered Retirement Saving Program) can't be pledged as security. Perhaps they are talking about borrowing to fund participation in the investment through an RRSP (which is allowed) but it's not clear that's what they meant.

Other than that, they have an offering memorandum, which means that they are at least acknowledging that what they are selling is a security as defined by the Act. Whether or not they sent a copy of that to any of the provincial Securities Commissions as required is anyone's guess.

What is the connection to IFFL and Brost? is it Hav-Loc?

Seems a number of the people involved in Hav-Loc were former structurists with IFFL. Check out the following link:

That would be a problem then, no doubt.
Did you put money into IFFL?

No, but I know some people who did. A few very lucky ones got their money out in time and rest appear to have lost everything. In some cases, 6 digits with the first number being greater than 4. Needless to say, those people are experiencing a mixed bag of emotions including embarrassment, anger, shame and hopelessness.

Investors who have lost their money need to start communicating with each other to see if any type of class action legal proceedings can be put together.
