Full article at Lowering the Bar

In August, Jerry Wayne Willis is alleged to have sold meth to an informant. The reporter for the local paper reported the claim but Lowering the Bar thinks Willis may have been talking about his Straw Man.

Edited to add that the article mentions his conviction and attempt to abscond.

Reminds me of the Bowie song Starman... altered slightly...

There's a Strawman waiting in the court
He'd like to come and be us
But he thinks he'd blow our claim
There's a starman waiting in the court
He's told us not to blow it
Cause he knows it's all worthwhile

At least give him some credit for being honest. I am sure that notorial dissent would agree that in terms of intelligence, he is probably as smart as some kinds of agricultural products.

I still say the court should have rules in his favor, and then mulched him.

Im currently at work in the fertilizer game delivering nh3 (anhydrous ammonia) to farms. It frequently used to make meth. Its how they made the blue meth on breaking bad.

So there is a chance part of the meth was at one time an agricultural product. And it might just be how he came up with such an idea. But thats pure speculation.

If your bored there is many vids on stealing it. The idiocy never ends. Remember it boils at roughly -37c is almost as cold as liquid nitrogen and if you breathe it...... well your going to have a bad time.

In short meth often at some point was in fact an agricultural product.

Been there, done that. Back in the old days an anhydrous leak was dealt with by fire fighters wearing normal turn out gear with all the seams duct-taped and working under a water mist. I can tell you from experience that approach doesn't work, in fact it's very painful. Guess I had a bad attitude as a firefighter - it's pissing down snow and rain which kills the vapor, we're far out in the country, and sooner or later the faulty pressure relief valve would reset on its own. Besides the driver didn't just evacuate to a safe location, he was literally no where to be found.

Im rescue trained on this. Yeah. We had the "always ready emergency responders" refuse to come within a mile. I have had to pump off rollovers both trucks and wagons. Guess im the only nut on the team.

I think he's more like an agricultural by-product.

Mr. Willis, a self-declared “sovereign citizen,” refused all counsel and filed a motion Sept. 11 to have the case dismissed for lack of jurisdiction. The motion was based on a bogus court-filing in the Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State, authorities say.

Once again, my home State of Minnesota plays a crucial, behind-the-scenes role in the sovcit movement.

Minnesota has a long way to go before it can brag about the number of sovrunites it has bred. It can't hold a candle for places like Arizona, Montana, Texas or British Columbia.

Is he by any chance talking about HATJ, OPPT and UCC-1 filings?

Not British Columbia. Now that Menard has left B.C., and with the important exception of David Lindsay, all of our sovereigns are just amateurs playing around. The real home of Canadian sovereigns is Alberta, particularly Edmonton. And who knows, if Quatloos had my equivalent in Ontario or Quebec to scour published cases and court hearings those provinces might rise to the top too.

Pretty accurate - a fair amount is going on in Alberta, but most of it is low level amateurish level that rarely hits the news. I even have a co-worker who is a dyed-in-the-wool FMOTL type. I don't know about Ontario but there are plenty in Quebec, even at least two gurus. I'm going to be in the face-down recovery position after eye surgery for most of December but early spring 2018 I will get around to translating the literally hundreds of all French language links I have accumulated regarding the Quebec FMOTL wing. Of course this is all assuming I'm not totally blind by then and my wife will put up with me not being at work for a few months.

Thank you to everyone for the best wishes. The eye issues were somewhat of a surprise, that being said, although all my important bits work fine various peripherals (knees, eyes, hips, even my family nose, etc) seem to be failing rapidly. I'm preparing to star in a new movie - "The Attack of the Bionic Zombie Pig Farmer" since if my doctors have their way they will have repaired and/or replaced all sorts of spare bits. 8)
