Sovrun arrested for squatting

Post by Lambkin »

This loopy lady has a few things to learn about squatting... informing the property owner should not be part of the program.

MISSOULA (AP) — A California woman is charged with burglary after prosecutors say she moved into a Lolo house that was for sale, changed the locks and delivered paperwork to the owner claiming it was hers.
Paffhausen said Ford had showed up about two weeks earlier to view the house as a prospective buyer. Sometime after that, prosecutors say Ford delivered paperwork to Paffhausen claiming ownership of the house and the land in a 20-mile radius around it. She offered to drop the lawsuit if Paffhausen would pay her about $900,000 in pure silver and gold.
Ford told the officers she was a sovereign citizen of the republic of America and therefore they had no authority over her.

This lady didn't much, just 40 sq. miles of land and a house. Man what is the world coming to.

But wait, was she claiming all the land within 20 miles of the house? So that would be roughly 1,256 square miles, right?

Area of a circle = Pi times (r squared),

where r = the radius of the circle.

If the radius of the circle is 20 miles, and Pi is approximately 3.14, you get:

3.14 x 20 miles x 20 miles = approx. 1,256 square miles.

Since there are 640 acres in a square mile, that would be 803,840 acres (1,256 sq miles x 640 acres per sq mile) that she was claiming as her own.
