Consolidated Medical Services

Post by notorial dissent »

We seem to have a new entrant in the creepy MLM world.

A Colorado company called Consolidated Medical Services has come up with a somewhat different take on the old tried and true MLM model. They are doing medical coverage through the MLM model, with the whole affiliate and fee set up, where the only one actually making any money out of it is the actual company, with the affiliates being charged anywhere from $35 to $345, as well as a monthly maintenance/hosting fees of $29.95 for a required website.

Apparently getting the backers to cover any of the insured was highly unlikely being part of the problem.

The Colorado Attorney General has stepped in filing fraud charges and taking action against the company.
