Dumb cluck dumps flock in IRS office

Merry Christmas

At about 12:21 p.m., a man who was angry with the agency dropped off his flock of seven chickens. A Eugene Police officer responded and called a Eugene animal welfare officer and together they herded and rounded up the chickens, which were then taken to 1st Avenue Shelter.

I feel that this levity is sadly inappropriate given that we are still recovering from a chicken tragedy related here on Quatloos. Don't any of you remember that Betty the Chicken is still missing? Another helpless victim of the Crawford injustice.

Actually, it was not an IRS office but an Oregon State Revenue office.
