Form 843

LH'er's are now using a different tactic. Can somebody alert the iRS????

I have to say Pete has more knowledge on the IRC than I do.
I did use the form 843 and it seems to have worked. For the first time I have received the zero tax liability letter and refund of all my money.
I didn't do the return in a timely manner thou (November 2009 for 2008).

Aren't the form's 1040, 4582, 1099. W2, W4, 843, and 1040x all for taxpayers and not non-taxpayers? I know I read that as well.

If I had to make a choice I would say Pete is right!! Problem is I tried it after much research and it worked. As from last Thursday's meeting I would like to scan my doc's pdf and send them to you Pete for your thoughts on this matter.

I don't think this is a new tactic per se - the TP movement has flirted with filing phony 843 claims in the past.
