I figured that was just standard language in case it turns out he was a really bad boy.

Did Lindsay or his wife ever threaten anyone?

It's pretty specific. Why not mention child porn or bank robbery, if they're simply carving out exceptions?bmielke wrote:I figured that was just standard language in case it turns out he was a really bad boy.

Good question. Mrs. Lindsey is an unknown for me. All I know is that she was a highly paid person at Enron and an Enron subsidiary prior to her move to Las Vegas with Jan. The tax years in question were mostly her income.Judge Roy Bean wrote:Did Lindsay or his wife ever threaten anyone?

The relevant language is: "However, this agreement does not foreclose prosecution for an act of murder, attempted murder, an act of physical violence against the person of another, or any conspiracy to commit any such act of violent unlawful activity."Demosthenes wrote:It's pretty specific. The use of the article "an" instead of "any" suggests that the government had a specific act in mind when the plea agreement was written.

Having re-read it I tend to think that maybe there is information about a specific crime, as LPC said. Were any IRS agents hurt or killed working on the case? Or any more likely because they wouldn't release what they were working on wer any killed in the area?Demosthenes wrote:It's pretty specific. As far as Child Porn and Bank Robbery for them to be covered it would need to relate to the tax evasion so, unless Lindsey made his living with either of those things they are un related.
