No idea but im going to ask,I don't expect him to comment on this persons case adn or debt as that would surely be a breach of some kind but it will be interesting to hear if he is aware of weRE bank and what they are doing against people who attempt to pay them using RE cheques.

isn't the WeRe Bank fanboy [100558AC] newleaf on GOODF that signs off namaste ?
No. newleaf is 231046GC (see first page of the thread "Posting on GOODF").

I mentioned upthread that I believe WeRe member 100558AC is GOODF user clawhammer. Their stories match: "I had a Judge only last month dismiss a Were Bank cheque as invalid".

Peter says that WeRe Bank doesn't pay sterling for the cheques, and on this I believe him. There have been a couple of "successes" reported in the bank forum, eg in thread "How many Cheques have been issued and cleared" member 070684JP claims to have paid West Devon Borough Council £1155.90 council tax with a WeRe cheque for £864.00. (Huh?) I expect that these, like all the others, will eventually bounce.

In the early days, a month or so ago, bank members thought the C&CCC 6-day clearing rule applied to them: if the cheque hasn't bounced within three days [EDIT: I meant six days], the account is paid. They have now realised that since Peter doesn't use C&CCC, that rule doesn't apply, and cheques can bounce months later.

When are these people going to realise that the only reason the value of the cheque is deducted from their "WeRe balance" is because they are supplying that information to Peter before they have sent their cheque? It is not because the cheques are clearing, it is because they are tipping Peter off upfront. When they log on to the website to obtain approval before sending the cheque they are giving Peter everything he needs to complete the scam. In effect it is like visiting a medium who, a few days before, you have told which dead relative you are hoping to contact and given them all the details of their life and death.
If any account holder of the WeRe bank is reading this I urge you to try the following which will prove that I am right:
When you next seek approval on the WeRe site for a cheque, when filling out the amount add an extra pound. So, say it is a utility bill for £186 fill out all the correct details on the website but put the amount as £187, not £186. When you write out the cheque put the correct amount as per the bill. In this case £186. When you log in a few days later to see if the cheque has "cleared" note the amount. Is it the value of the actual cheque or is it the value you told Peter the cheque will be? I guarantee it will be the latter. Try it.

Telling PoE that you've sent a cheque and not even writing a cheque would have the same effect and evidence the scam even more starkly - in the scenario above he could claim "clerical error".

You're right. It would be better. There cannot be a "clerical error" if you do not send the cheque. Hopefully a WeRe member will read this and try it out.

I thought followers from this thread might be interested in this:
http://www.williestruthcall.com/daily-call-archive/

That is a listing for Willie's Truth Call, a 5 day a week conference call for NESARA true believers (if you don't know what NESARA is, look in the prosperity forum section). This is a call that has several thousand people on it nightly. And lately its turned into a Were Bank pumping-fest.

For example, listen to the calls from July 9 and July 10. Probably 60-80% of the call is devoted to discussing Were Bank. The host of the call, a guy named Willie, is a true believer in every type of prosperity scam. Hes been pumping NESARA and other scams for 25 years. He doesn't get paid a dime by PoE, but his call is sending dozens or hundreds of new marks because they all want to pay of all their debts with magical checks (which will never clear, of course).

Edit: Whoops, wrong thread, requesting mods to move it to PoE thread.

Brilliant find! Comedy gold!

In a nutshell: a phone-in host ("Brother Willie") answers weird questions about strange subjects, pending the arrival of NESARA, which Douglas Adams might have writen about if he could have been bothered. Many questions are about WeRe Bank. The host disclaims any association with the bank, but clearly loves it.

Oh, yes, it's USA holy-roller. Or bible-thumping, or some other stereotype that we Brits have of Americans.

July 9th at 39m, a caller phones to say he has two loans from a company, with two different account numbers. Should he send one check for the total amount, or two checks for the separate amounts? The obvious answer is: phone the company and ask them. The host doesn't know, so asks someone else, who decides two cheques are needed.

The next caller reckons WeRe is too good to be true; has the host tried it? The host doesn't answer this, but says he has heard lots of good things about it. Scamsters don't make videos, he says.

65m 30s WereBank is a God-send. It has $580 billion in gold backing the bank, for the people of the world. The Lord has blessed us with the WeRe Bank.

That is a cracking analogy. I wish someone out there was smart enough to get over the initial promises and start trying these things, as it would be a great opportunity to see exactly how the system is playing out.

Well seeing as bertie bert did nigh on all the WeRe bank "marketing" on GOODF that is going to mean PoE is likely to have significantly fewer new recruits.

ps I think bb was more of a fan-boy for PoE than working in any paid capacity.

It says a lot about Peter's real character as a human being that after everything Bertie did for him and WeRe bank, Peter can't even make a comment about his passing on his facebook page. I am guessing Peter is now too busy finding the next sucker to help him promote this scam.

Sad news about bertie. From reading his posts my opinion is that he was an idiot, but like bones said, it is always sad when someone dies. I suspect there is going to be some difficulty in finding a funeral director who will accept a WeRe cheque.

Probably just faking it because he can see what's coming and he doesn't fancy doing time for conspiracy to defraud.

Well colour me surprised - over on GOODF someone is already suggesting Bertie might have been "bumped off".

That is sad. My condolences to all who loved him. It is a reminder that, however weird someone may seem, they are still fellow humans. Bertie was passionate about growing and preserving food, and that seems a better legacy than his involvement with PoE.
