As opposed to bought with cash from the suckers who contribute to Goofy which would not be hypocritical or two faced in any way whatsoever.

From what I understand - he does not own this property. The property is rented and the actual owner is overseas

Not too far from me then. About twenty odd doors away. I won't say in which direction.

Looking at that makes me wonder why I am paying my water rates?

But I do, and will continue to do so, but it does make you wonder what is the worst that may happen?
A CCJ maybe? (Something I have never had, nor wish to have) but am wondering if this is the only downside?
I imagine that with a CCJ on file it would be tough to get a mortgage or rental agreement though.
Is that how it works?

I've always treated the water rates as being very much a low priority debt as there is precious little they can actually do to me apart from get a CCJ and I've had them before and my credit rating is about as low as it can get anyway which suits me just fine.

I've always been very open with them... They'll get paid most of the money most of the time but if it's a choice between paying them and eating / heating the flat / paying vets bills or the occasional monumental piss-up then they'll have to either wait and get what I can afford or go f**k themselves :snicker:

Hang on a minute.....do my eyes deceive me or can I see, not one, but two wheelie bins?
Please don't tell me Ceylon uses the services provided by Nottingham Council?
That would be too funny.
It can't be true.
Those photos must be fake.

Phew! That's OK then.
Er....hang on a minute. It's not OK. Ceylon tells us that council tax is "FRAUD!"
Please don't tell me Ceylon uses services that are provided by a council and are funded by council tax revenue.
That would be too funny.

Yes. I personally wouldn't have posted it if he hadn't already made it public domain.

I have a personal no-outing policy, although I see that as up to the individual, and subject to forum rules (if they have one on the matter)

That address rings a bell, wasn't it where Tom Crawford wanted his goods delivering too, we were trying to decipher what was under the marker pen

Looked on the public Land Registry and it's not registered in Ceylon's name.

I thought that I would just have a little peep before bedtime on the Cause List for the Royal Courts of Justice for hearings for tomorrow and I see that the Gillard v Haining case is indeed listed to be heard in Court 37 after 2pm. But what a small world.....look at who just so happens to be in the same court, on the same day, and before the same Judge.
