Personally I think that many of them are so stupid that it's looped round into them thinking they are intelligent. In some respects it may not be their fault, we often equate experience with skill, now Mr Ebert is certainly very experienced at going to court, but he's not actually very good at it. He has lots of experience but none of this has translated into skill. In fact it seems to have done the opposite, the more he fails, the more he digs in and considers that he was right and the court was wrong.

It's not quite delusional thinking, because delusions divorce someone from reality, it's more wishful thinking. Tom thought the Judgement was fair and correct except for that little bit where it said he lost. Except it wasn't a little bit saying he lost, it was practically all of the Judgement. In fact the Judge only conceded one area where team Tom may have had a valid point, but that point wasn't relevant.

Interesting video by Craig here, it does actually look like stuff is being bagged up to be dumped, but it's unclear what's in them. I reckon it's garden waste as they usually clear all of that before selling the house.

The Sheriffs Office are the HCEO's behind or involved in the TV programme "The Sheriffs are Coming". However he isn't one of the TV staff. I would guess that either they weren't filming when Tom's case came up, or either the Sheriffs, Police or BBC decided it wouldn't be in the best interests to film.

While Tom's eviction would have made cracking TV, I suspect that a lot of the episode would need to be spent explaining that contrary to Tom and his wifes understanding they didn't win.

It sure was norman, Paul King was running the show and the guy with HMCS yellow vest was a County Court bailiff. Walker Morris requested the security and help from the sheriffs office and the county court agreed due to being short of bailiffs . This was executed on an N49 with a re-issue number.
