Ridiculous charge anyway, "behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace "would have been more appropriate and likely to stick.
I've yet to see Tom being violent in any video, despite the obvious stress he is under.
This is likely to open up claims from him against the old bill, Guy and Ebert are probably on the case right now.
And the spitter " accidentally " spat in the cops face?....good to see that excuse got kicked into touch.

Yes, got that - 'the force by the police was more than necessary' but TC 'inflamed the situation'.

If I was a PC on the ground there, I would be well pissed off - what force, for gods sake! I think TC got lucky with the judge, he should be thankful for it.

And the spitter apologising - wow! Bet that stuck in her throat.

Any news on what you thought were court papers being served on Haining?

Monika Godos, 34, whose correspondence address is The Wyndings, Woodthorpe, admitted assaulting a policeman during the protest. She apologised after she inadvertently spat in his face. The judge ordered her to pay compensation of £100, a £250 fine, £300 costs and £150 courts charges.

It didn't look very inadvertent to me, but £800 might teach her some manners.
