We have someone on this at the minute but come on guys lets put a name to the face of this Quatloooser let's expose them from behind there keyboard
Typical Mr Bradley on EFOTB but interestingly 14 hours later only 4 likes and no replies. 2 of the likes are from Colon and Craig.

Nothing from the lovely Candice, the concept of the like button and how to use it may well be lost on her though.
When I looked up "Ninjas" in Thesaurus.com, it said "Ninja's can't be found" Well played Ninjas, well played.

I'm a little concerned that between now and the January trials the Crawford saga may go a little quiet. A shame really as it has given so much to so many.

So what could we see between now the New Year?

I suppose we could see the grand unveiling of the new owners on the Land Registry of 3 Fearn Chase which could no doubt prompt the usual rants of 'stolen' by the keyboard warriors.

We've also yet to see the promised private prosecutions against every man and dog. What happened with all those shoulder-numbers they took during Operation Whooper? All those threats to each officer, the bailiffs, security and removal men.

Maybe Tom will make an application to make an application of no merit in Court.

The return of the Grand Jury would make for some entertainment. I've yet to see their last Order enforced.

Come on the Crawford crowd, give us something to work with, please.... :D

One thing I've noticed with following the Crawfords, is that when you think you are due a lull in the action, all of a sudden they stupid it on up to another level, even if we don't really know what that level will be or even could be.

We might also expect B&B's final bill to arrive with the Crawfrauds at some point. If, as expected, there is a substantial remaining liability which B&B are going to pursue, then the next chapter might involve dials-to-eleven stupidity.

Get with the program Hercule, Tom mentioned £98k in his court hearing. Plus the defence hearing costs for that hearing will be added to the £98k. If this is correct he will probably have had at least one follow up letter by now asking how he is going to pay them.

I doubt very much the final amount will be put on general release, after all they didn't exactly announce the last court case.

The tried to keep it all quiet and it was obvious at that point they'd received some form of bill that they'd been unwilling to share.

They now know exactly how much hilarity any information of that nature creates ! :snicker:

That £98k didn't include the removal, clean up and security costs as they can be charged under the terms of the mortgage. I'd presume the original £43k is something like £250k now. Add in the £98k and we're talking almost £350,000

I'd be very surprised if UKAR will ever get that back even if they do find Ma Crawford's house. I hope they do though, we could see another Crawford eviction battle, I get hope the interweb could cope

I doubt the final bill will escalate to that amount but Tom will be carpet fitting for the rest of his life due to GEFF site. He could perhaps recruit Craig as he's an avid carpet fitter (see what i did there!)

Tom, being Tom, let the figure out in the court hearing. I think it reasonable that he (and Sue) owe B&B / UKAR £98k. This is the amount owed after taking the selling price of 3 Fearn Chase off the total, (so the total was ~£153k) but doesn't include the legal costs incurred in defending the Tom court application. I'm not sure whether interest is chargeable on all of that or only some of it. If you look back through the Crawford related threads there are guesses by various people of the costs involved.
And no way is it now £350k, it was a mortgage not a Payday loan off CashCall (US joke).

Whatever it is and I think it will have grown past the 98k amount (due to the recent court hearing) it won't be much over 100k. However to Tom it may as well be 350k, he still can't pay it, he couldn't pay half that amount to keep his house. Now he's lost the house and owes even more money.

That is the tragedy in all this, the man initially owed around 45k (can't be bothered to get the exact figure) he was asked to find a way to pay it, he was talked into not paying it by a bunch of idiots who weren't risking their house and who don't understand life in general and who are so entrenched in various conspiracy theories they've long lost touch with reality, so he loses the house, but in doing so adds so much to his bill that even after they take the house he's now in twice as big a hole and has even less assets to help him out.

You could sum up the whole mission of Quatloos in that paragraph:
That is the tragedy in all this, the man initially owed around 45k (can't be bothered to get the exact figure) he was asked to find a way to pay it, he was talked into not paying it by a bunch of idiots who weren't risking their house and who don't understand life in general and who are so entrenched in various conspiracy theories they've long lost touch with reality, so he loses the house, but in doing so adds so much to his bill that even after they take the house he's now in twice as big a hole and has even less assets to help him out.
If we can get one person to understand that the FOTL nonsense will cause far more harm than good, then we have done a service to society. (And if we haven't, at least we get to have a good laugh at the idiots when they destroy themselves. :sarcasmon: )

It's the same theme that runs through time and time again, I borrowed the money, be it endowment mortgage (TC) or secured loans (Elizabeth Watson, Saving Grace to name a few of the latest) but don't want the responsibility of paying it back.

It's the huge bucket loads of self pity and 'everyone's to blame but me' that really winds me up ! :brickwall:

Saving Grace will be okay because Applecart told her that if she reports the Trustee in Bankruptcy to Action Fraud all she has to do is show the bailiffs a copy of the reference number on the automatically-generated reply email, and they'll go "oh, okay then, we'll be off now."
