POE has always been long on promises, short on filling them. So, same old same old. Pity UK doesn't have counterfeit of legal process statutes, or the will to enforce them if they did.

You just reminded me of a gag which I once pulled with my Scouts. Some years ago, my cellar flooded; and among the things damaged was a small box full of obsolete European paper money (the kind which, when I bought it, cost mabe 5 or 10 cents piece, if the coin shop owner wasn't simply giving it away). I soaked the damaged notes in water, separated them and then dried them; and when I next went camping, I threw billions in Rentenmarks, Reichsmarks, Rubles, Pengö, Yen and Yuan onto the fire. The Scouts looked me as if I'd lost my mind; but I reminded that I had lost it before they ever met me, and shoved another pile under the fire lay before lighting a match.

We are sorry to hear this. As an internationally renowned bank specialising in all kinds of worthless toilet paper based currency, we aim to innovate on behalf of our clientele.

Swissindos come in perforated sheets so you can just tear off the exact amount required to relieve yourself (of all your money).

Our latest offering is 3-ply and comes in three different types to suit the most discerning bottoms: Izal, Kindness and Montezuma's Revenge.

Swissindos: soft, strong and very very wrong.

I was expecting the money to end up in the latrine at the end of that story. But then again, if there's anything I remember from my time as a Webelo, it's that campfires are made specifically to burn things that probably shouldn't be burned.

I was pained by the flooding; but these banknotes were damaged past the point of collectibility.

Lack of sentimentality is a good trait for a collector. I've got loads of worthless baseball cards i can't bring myself to toss.

Guess who's back with a brand new rap! And by 'new' I mean 'the same old twaddle about overthrowing the government as before': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFsHGBRK6DY

He has a new website, but it's down. Great start to taking over the country!

The only semi-interesting bit of news here is that he's back to being Peter of England, since he's standing outside the Leek United Building Society in Newcastle-Under-Lyme.

It seems he was back a month ago on Yootoob for a couple of nonsense videos.

The most recent is back in the UK. The slightly older two I agree look like Germany or similar.

The trouble is whilst he may not make large gains in the political spectrum, in this post-factual era we seem to be living in, I can actually see some people joining/ and voting (if he indeed pays the appropriate fees)...

Then again, does the electoral commission except Re’s? :snicker:

The sort of people who might vote for him mostly make a point of not being on the electoral roll.
