Depending on who asked what and who replied, I think the previous owner would still be liable even though the court ordered the sale and the process was carried out by the neighbour's solicitor.
I'm sure they would be. I can't see how a solicitor selling, whether acting directly for the seller or not, could be held liable for something that they were not aware or - unless they were negligent in checking some legal matter for example.

Is the next-door neighbor still the legal owner of Hanover Cottage? I've read the whole thread but I've lost track of who actually owns the house (apart from the fact that Rekha does NOT own it).

Wrekha still owned it until she finally got hauled in to court for the legal fees she never paid, and it was ordered sold to cover them. I suspect technically she is still the actually owner and they are selling her interest to co cover her debt. Her little effort at selling it to herself and her parents was apparently simply ignored by the last court.

Ok, that makes sense. I had thought that the court awarded the neighbor with ownership of the house to cover the legal fees, rather than simply ordering it to be sold. Wrekha's switch-and-sell attempt just made me even more confused. Thanks for clarifying.

As near as I can parse, the only claim the neighbor had was for the actual damages that Wrekha and her builder did, and those were eventually paid after a lot of grief and another court case and the neighbor made whole except for the annoyance and harassment. The costs and what not accrued to the insurance company's solicitors and that is what landed her in court this last time and will cost her the house by the time they are done. her skipping court and being unreasonable is what got her in further trouble. The house being sold is a done deal, whether she goes to jail or not for trespass and the like is yet to be determined.

Sure is - Stockport Magistrates 28th November. Two days before her mate Chrisy Morris at Manchester Crown Court on 30th November. Both are being done for the same thing - obstructing a court enforcement officer. Need plenty of popcorn in for that week.

A few points while trying to decipher all that trash. No seatbelt in the back of a Police van. How surprising! :sarcasmon: First, I think technically, legally, there aren't seats in the back of Police vans for transporting arrestees. Two, I am willing to demonstrate how little damage could be caused by a metal buckle on the end of a length of webbing. Three, there is so much paperwork involved when arrestees hang themselves in Police vans. (Yes I'm still being sarcastic.)
I think she might have been given Police Bail, the "paperwork to say that I am to surrender" bit, so she might be in breach of Police Bail depending on the conditions.

Delusional as ever, I would imagine her upcoming court date is going to be quite entertaining if she bothers to show up.

I wonder who her "landlord" was? The order needs to be expanded to include her colluders.

She just continues to dig her hole ever deeper.

Her landlord is Peter McDowell, director of Tunkashila Ltd the fake company which bought her cottage for £100 off her parents who in turn bought it for £2 off her. Tunkashila was the name on the deeds last time we looked. Probs still is - that's why the police haven't charged him for breaking into Patel Cottage - assuming that's what he did.

The "Peter McDowell's name is on the deed" schtick shouldn't be working at this late date. The Chancery court ruled on it long ago. Either the paperwork needs to get updated, or the local police need to read the entire document.

If you are released on police bail and do not return on the date and at the time required, you may be charged with a separate criminal offence. This is called ‘failure to surrender’ and whilst you may not think that the actual penalty given for this offence is particularly serious, it does count as a ‘breach of trust’. Breaches of trust on a person’s criminal record may affect your ability to get bail if you are ever charged with an offence in the future.
Trying to piece this story together then... in August Thelma & Louise did this...
https://tamesidereporter.com/2017/08/co ... -in-chaos/
A few days later they returned to Stockport Mags and this time their 'Legal Advisor' Ken Thompson wasn't allowed in the courtroom. So they left with him and it classed as a no show. Wrecka must have been on the run, sofa surfing until September when they police showed up at her friend's house with a warrant. This must be what she means by a failure to surrender.
It just gets worse and worse.

And they haven't locked her up. Yet. I'm guessing her very next stunt will achieve that, unless she flees.

The information we have so far is that she left the court last time as a no show, there was a warrant issued and a November hearing date set.

My guess would be that this was execution of that warrant and the further "surrender" stuff here is the bail terms, her being required to surrender herself for the court date.

What I can't even start to guess from this though is if the requirement is to surrender to the court of the day, or to the police at some point ahead of the date so she can be escorted to the court. In either case her apparent belief she's refused this is likely misguided to say the least - I would suspect the police have given her the terms and if she adheres to them or not is something to deal with at the time.

The problem with Wrekha and her warped reality you're never entirely sure what she is talking about, then again, I'm not sure she is either.

It’s likely that the police executed a bail warrant, a sometimes pointless exercise to get a defendant back on track with their hearings. Rekha will have gone the whole wet ink no warrant bollocks route but I imagine plod will have just said;

“turn up on this day or face further arrest. Tarrarh!”

So she may wish to ignore the trial date but assuming she is still (somehow) in the teaching profession it wouldn’t be difficult for the cops to trace her, ironically to give her a *ahem* ‘detention’ all of her own. Burying your head in the sand won’t help, if she thinks she has an arguable defence then by all means get advice and test the evidence. But not from feckin’ Ken Thompson!

I am just amused how the Wrecka has elevated the entire Derbyshire police organization into a unified lawless rogue operation. If I were to believe her, I would have to assume that this rogue police department is involved in similar activities every day in order to ensure that enough money is coming in to ensure their members keep receiving the ill-gotten gains they have come to expect. And, of course, that means that I have to believe that the residents of Derbyshire just tolerate this activity, day in and day out as the unavoidable cost of living in Derbyshire. And the rest of the UK is supportive of this behavior, probably because if it is going to happen, better that it happens in Derbyshire and is contained there instead of spreading all over the UK.

The only other explanation is that only Wrecka got hit with this activity. Thus the Derbyshire police, an otherwise law-abiding police unit, has suddenly decided to persecute Wrecka for no apparent reason without fear or concern for their careers, their pensions, their families and homes. Perhaps one of Neelu Berry's spells backfired and infected the entire Derbyshire police department?

I think she supplied a reason and it was to play the only remaining card in her deck, the Race Card, which she has been waving around for awhile now. I think it looks something like this:

Of course, this explains why only she is being targeted by the corrupt police force, siding with here neighbor, all because of her lack of understanding of the building regulations, use of shoddy contractors, and total lack of legal understanding, not to mention defiance of court orders, illegal sham property transfers, trespass, and likely criminal damage race

Strangely, although the estate agent's front external photo shows the house with windows and doors sealed up, the interior pics are of the house fully furnished and obviously lived-in. Not sure what that indicates.
