Ollie Pinnock All i can tell you is what happened to me (in brief). I followed the process to the letter for two years with the council and all of its agents. I was then visited by a warrant officer working for marstons who was accompanied by 5 police officers. I was told that a warrant (no bail) had been issued by the magistrate and he wished me to accompany him to the station. I was told if i refused he had the power to arrest. I was locked in a cell for 22 odd hours and then put infront of a videolink court in the station. I refused to recognise the jurisdiction, stated my standing under a61, and requested a trial by jury. I was refused and sentenced to 25 days. I my mum then paid in full under duress to avoid prison... Feel free to ask any questions.

Miscreants with popular support would have people discouraging the throwing of objects at the captive one by unfriendly persuasion, criminals no one cared one way or the other about usually got ignored and unpopular criminals got a rough deal.

Weren't they looking to seize his home to pay Proceeds of Crime, £24k seems to ring a bell or was it more? He was summons to Court for failure to pay up, I guess if he's still at Liberty he signed over the property otherwise they'd still be after him.

The Proceeds of Crime Act is an extension of criminal proceedings, once you've been found guilty of a crime that financially benefitted you the next stage in the process is a POCA Order for the amount you're deemed to have benefitted by, with full committal proceedings if you have assets and you fail to cough up.

A recent example is one of the Hatten Garden robbers, he'd been ordered to pay £6m +, has failed to do so and has been handed an additional 6 years on top of their existing sentence.
