COINS COINS COINS

Post by GMac »

I hope I'm not treading on Illuminati toes here (I hear that's a bad idea) but I popped over to the NESARA blog to see what the excuse was for the RV not happening this past Monday like they said it would (really this time!) and I find out they're doing the "Lawful Money" thing. Their grand LM idea? ONLY USE COINS:
Oh and I also believe that spending COINS exempts those amounts from being considered as INCOME, as you're not using credit from Federal Reserve to buy anything; you're using LAWFUL MONEY which doesn't come with tax liability attached, since it's issued by US Treasury and not through Federal Reserve (Central bank).
Can you imagine the RV crowd going into the local Wells Fargo and asking for their big dinar boodle payout in dollar coins? How much would $400 million dollar coins weigh? (At least it'd make it harder to steal...)

Oh, but it gets better:
In other words, when you use LAWFUL MONEY, such as US coins, then you're NOT DISCHARGING debts with promisory notes such as an FRNs, [Federal Reserve Note],but you're actually PAYING OFF the debt, because you give the seller something with REAL value. So in order to pay for things with REAL money, we can order the bank to CASH OUR CHECKS IN DOLLAR COINS. Then we should be able to OPT OUT of US Public Policy and all the statutes that come with it, such as the Vehicle Code., and assert protection of Public Law, under which we have a RIGHT to use public roads. And that means use them WITHOUT any licenses and registrations.
So we can put the word 'COIN' on the check we use to pay for a car for example. And that gives you the right to demand common law jurisdiction, to which we are entitled by LAW
Buy a car with dollar coins and you won't need a driver's license or license plates! Wheee! :brickwall:

And better:
Also, since nickels have the highest intrinsic value (about 99 cents per 1 dollar face value), It'd be good to make bills of sale and other contracts payable in nickel coins, which would leave the State very little, if any, security interest in the goods being purchased.
So, I guess, not only are they going to get their payout in coins, they're supposed to get it in NICKELS and then buy their houses, cars, planes and whatever with those NICKLES. Millions of dollars of nickles.

WHAT. THE. FRICK.

EDIT:
Fortunately, one nickel weighs exactly 5 grams, so it's easy to figure out how much weight any given quantity of nickles works out to; 4 million would be 44,000 pounds. Better bring a forklift to the bank!

As of this morning, the scrap value of a U.S. nickel is 89.39% of face value (according to http://www.coinflation.com).

I believe that our friends on Saving to Suitors have also discussed this particular angle (among other things, they also believe that by "demanding lawful money', you can transubstantiate a FRN into a United States Note). As for GMac's comment about buying cars, etc. with nickels -- I just bought a 2010 Toyota Camry (6800 miles) for around $15,000; so let's see. 15,000 x 20 = 300,000. With 40 nickels to a roll, that means 7500 rolls of nickels.

I'm guessing that banks get nickels in bulk shipments of 50 rolls per box, with a value of $100. This means that not only do I have to hump 75 very heavy boxes into the dealer; it means that the dealer -- assuming that I don't get told to take the nickels and shove them somewhere -- is going to have to either hump those same boxes of nickels to the bank (after he inspects them to make sure that I haven't included foreign coins or slugs inside the rolls) or store them on-site.

Oh, by the way: according to http://www.treasury.gov, we find the following regarding distribution of coins from the Mint:

"Currency notes and coins are all produced by the Treasury Department. After production, the Treasury ships the coins and currency notes directly to Federal Reserve banks and branches. The Federal Reserve then releases them as required by the commercial banking system. The demand for money by the public varies from day to day and from week to week. There are even differences from season to season. Banks are usually first to feel the impact of the public's demand for cash. To meet the needs of the public, banks turn to their regional Federal Reserve bank for coins and currency when their supplies are low."

How, I wonder, do these people ever manage to get themselves out of bed and get dressed, all by themselves, in the morning?

How does this help them if they're broke.

$0 in quarters is still $0.

but but but the RV! The RV is coming!

BTW, new reason it's delayed yet again:
RV RUMORS/GOSSIP

HEARD THAT OBAMA STOPPED THE RV AGAIN AT 4:00 AM EST ON WED, 12/10/14. OBAMA WANTS OUR COUNTRY TO BE A 3RD WORLD SOCIALISTIC COUNTRY. OBAMA DOES NOT WANT YOU TO RECEIVE THESE BLESSINGS. WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THE CIA CORP PUPPET FROM KENYA?
Whee, take a bunch of desperate conspiracy kooks who've spent themselves into poverty chasing the dinar Grail, and tell them Obama's the reason they aren't getting the millions they're depending on! What could go wrong? :Axe:

If the evil-conspirators-du-jour are so determined to delay or stop the RV, year after year, due to their own self-interest and nefarious purposes, WHY do the RVers have even a glimmer of hope that the RV is EVER going to happen and make them quadrikickamajillionaires?

One wonders if they are parsing the Harry Potter series and searching for the spell and wand which will repel the Forces of Evil and bring the RV to fruition....

One other angle to consider is the concept of "legal tender". Mr. Sovrun may well walk into, say, a clothing store with five boxes of nickels to pay for the suit which he ordered; but the store doesn't have to accept the nickels. It also doesn't have to accept the payment if he, instead, walks in with five $100 bills.

Wait wait wait - if accepting the coins as opposed to FRNs so you don't contribute to the debt is the point, why not just leave the money in the bank and use a debit card? Or are we supposed to believe that the Fed somehow creates electronic funds as fiat money as well?

Or I may just be overanalyzing a terribly stupid misinformed idea, but how could that possibly happen?

I think the answer here is stupid is as stupid does.
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

Oh, dear God, the conspiracies are cross-breeding again...

Anyway, I happen to have a Zachary Taylor dollar coin in my pocket right now, and it weighs right about 10 g on the kitchen scale, so of course the answer to your question is that $400 million in dollar coins would weigh something like 4 million kilograms, net, or 8.8 million pounds. WolframAlpha informs me that this is also 1.4 times the mass of a Saturn V rocket, or about one-third the mass of New York City's daily output of trash, if that helps at all.

Or the equal amount of, like, $100 in Dinar :haha:

A few years back, when the prices of copper and nickel were at their peak and the scrap value of a US nickel was over 5 cents, I saw a letter, to a coin collector newspaper, from a guy who proclaimed that the ebil gummint wasn't going to stop HIM from making a profit, in the All-Amurrican way, by buying nickels in bulk and storing them, on pallets, in his garage, to await the day when the Forces of Freedom were going to force the gummint to repeal the anti-coin melting laws.

I'd love to know if the guy still has his nickels, now worth just under 4 1/2 cents apiece in scrap value, and considers what his return would have been if he had invested his money more conventionally. I keep on envisioning his wife -- if he had or still has one -- asking him when he is going to get rid of those nickels already.

Whatever you do, don't let the "normal people" in on the coin thing. Sooner than you could say "Bob's your uncle," your Uncle Bob will be cashing in his Dinars for nickels. With the fall of the value of the Dinar the RV could be delayed until next Monday, in which case all the whales will leave the Reno Wells Fargo and it's doubtful we'll ever get them back again.

Over on Planet Merrill, David the Patroon shared this document with one and all on December 9:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B1EaV_b ... zODM4/edit

In other words: the answer was staring him in the face, but as veteran Quatloosians can remember from when he was able to post here, he is a Past Master at being unable to accept the truth. He's much more like the Suitor who, elsewhere in that thread, places HUGE importance on the distinction between lawful money and "lawful money".

Hopeless.... :brickwall:
