Things Dinarians might buy

Post by texino »

After years of observing the hi jinks that go along with the Big RV, I have realized that these folks are suckers for stuff that might be of some value in years to come. Therefore, I have made a little list of items they might go for. Maybe you have something to add; please feel welcome!

1. National Geographic Magazines

2.Old VCRs of Start Trek TV shows that you recorded

Convincing people that whatever you have to sell will appreciate quickly might be tough, but these folks have a proven record of buying into super long shots, so go to it.

Good luck-Texino

Add old, rotary-dial telephones to the list!

This is an great topic, Texino, thanks of thinking of it.

Items that appeal to the base vanity of Dinarians:

a) "Youth" creams - after all, how can one enjoy spending 6 trillion dollars if you are too old
to enjoy it?

b) "Generic Viagra" from Mexico - in case the items in a) don't work

c) "Classic cars" - AM Pacer, Cadillac Cimarron, or a Pontiac Aztek

1) The magic pill, suppressed by the big oil companies, which when dropped in a gallon of water produces a fuel which is superior, in mileage, to gasoline.

2) 8-track tape cartridges.

3) Teletype machines (for getting out the word as to when NESARA will be announced or when the RV will finally happen).

I would actually love to find an old Pacer, especially a Pacer X, in good cheap condition. Don't ask. I already had a Cavaliar and the Aztecs were a neat, but ugly, vehicle. I had this doesn't mean I have the taste of a Dinarian. :(

hey hey now, that's insulting to Star Trek and us artists therein that work on it LOL

I would think more old VCR tapes of In the News from the old Saturday Morning Cartoons or something in that vein.

here's my list:

1) Old beaten up RV's
2) charcoal grills (rusted of course)
3) Betamax tapes.
4) and of course.. ... .. Polyester Liesure Suits...

there you have it form the twisted mind of this little girl that's been following the OPPT from day one, with all the craziness they offered, and now the RV'ers with all the craziness they offer.

Water-mining mineral rights on the moon and/or Mars. Use your funds to secure a foothold on the next great uncolonized land, free from government interference.

99-year lease on select former Titan missile silos, complete with comfortable farmhouse on top that blends into the landscape. High-tech perimeter security and intrusion detection system with bank-vault door entry provides a perfect place to safely store your wealth.

Beachfront property on beautiful Loihi, the newest Hawai'ian island southeast of the Big Island, due to emerge above the waves on April 19, 51997 AD. Stake your claim now before prices rise. Unpopulated islands are in short supply. This one will definitely be worth the wait.

In the mid 80s Coca Cola decided to change it's formula to "New Coke." Everyone old enough at the time probably knew someone who decided to "invest" in buying a few cases of old Coke for sale later. I had never heard any stories about what happened later until a few weeks ago at work.

A friend of a coworker had bought a dozen cases of Coke, in bottle and stored in wooden flats like they the trucks used to use. He moved every year or so, and carted these around with him. Finally, after 5+ years, no knowing to whom to sell them even if there was a market, he decided to pack it in and drink them. But, in the intervening time being stored at room temperature or hotter, the Coca Cola had "turned" and tasted terrible. My coworker's friend threw them all away.

Dinarians should be so lucky.

I knew someone who did the same thing with Billy Beer. Of course, the stuff was marginally drinkable when it was still fresh; but after a few years, even in a refrigerator... EWWWWW! Of course, he was unable to sell them; and he ended up taking the cans up to New Hampshire and using them as targets on his firing range.

For the true currency RV fanatics, there is also the pre-1948 German Reichsmark. You can buy thousand-mark notes for under a dollar in coin shops.

Yes, but you have to always keep telling George W to take his tongue out of people's ears, and that gets tiring. Thankfully, last time around we got to prank Alex Jones by putting cayenne pepper in his bullhorn.
