Hmmm...

Unicorn Ventures is a scam. They aren't registered in the CRC of Lisbon, their number isn't to be found in any Yellow Pages in Portugal and the building they depict on their website as being their office doesn't match any building in Rua Hermano Nueves (verified by Google Earth).

Their address is listed as 16/17 Rua Hermano Nueves, but no such address exists there.

And their website is one of those free sites.

Then there's the whole "they changed their name to Artemis Financial and relocated to Budapest" angle.

Yeah, I wouldn't waste my time with them either. Nor would I wipe my butt with netnetnet.tv shares, much less buy them.

If this doesn't convince you, several countries have issued warnings about them and their bogus stock.

Mark Valentine was arrested in August 2002 by the FBI in Germany. He resides in Toronto, Canada. He was the Chairman of the bankrupt company Thomson Hernaghan of Toronto. He recieved a lifetime ban for trading. After the ban he recieved any broker licence from Refco Futrues and opened a new company QCapital corp and was involved in Europe with "European Launch Pad". He was shut down again by regulators. He was then banned from the OTCBB or Pink Sheets. (visit Stock Patrol, 2006, Mark Valentine, "Paying with Pennies"). On a recent thread he brags that he nas never stopped trading. - see Stock Watch, May 2009. It is rumored that he has an office at 136 Yorkville Ave. in Toronto Canada. He also makes huge donation to Mount Sinia Hospital in Toronto. Anothr huge contributor to the hospital is Larry Wasser. He has a private investment firm L. W. Capital Corp. at the same address. You can visit the Mount Sinia Hospital web site and see their donations on the 2008/2009 anual report.

No, I don't follow any of the stocks. But if you feel that Fitzpatrick or Vanlentine are involved they are just boiler room operations.

Those are all well known boiler rooms. Most of them seems inactive these days, except CLT Solutions who are still actively robbing people's money. CLT Solutions pushed the "Nexis Holdings" stock, and are these days calling the happy share owners requesting more money to join some "merger of Nexis with a consortium in the US". They are also "converting" the Nexis shares into some unlisted shares in "Arcadia Trading Group" - a fraudulent oil trading operation based in British Virgin Island.

"Arcadia" sounds like a John Wilson Duffell III (old friend of Fitzpatrick) company or maybe it's a coincidence? Could they finally be reconciled?

You might be right. As someone mentions on this board they saw the names of some of Duffell's friends in the Arcadia management. The Arcadia web site has since then changed.

Yeah, looks like it. Duffell's Arcadia was once Farnley FInancial, an oil and gas scam on "stripper wells" in and around Shreeveport Louisiana.

Yep, he is definitely involved. This is the whois info for the Louisiana Offices for Arcadia:

Code: Select all

Whois Output for: arcadiaoilandgas.com

Domain Name Owner:
  Duffell, John
  6658 Youree Drive Suite 180-227
  Shreveport, LA 71105
  US
In other words.. avoid at all costs.

How all this is linked together is another question. There are lots of links between Fitzpatrick and Nexis through his Thaler Fund, European Launch Pad, and others. Nexis is then pushed by "CLT Solutions". Some people believe CLT is operating from Thailand but this has never been confirmed. There are also links to Hong Kong. CLT Solutions now tries to make Nexis share owners to invest more to qualify to join a merger between Nexis and some US based operation. Those who don't want to invest more have their shares converted to into Arcadia.

Duffell and Fitzpatrick have worked together for many years. They had a little disagreement in Geneva around 2001 /2002 but it will be a surprise to nobody that they can't live without each other. By the way Duffell was seen recently in Thailand with a new wife/girlfriend accorging to posts on the Dilligizer II board.
