There have been a few mentions of the Business in Motion Ponzi scheme but I didn't find a thread dedicated to it.

A Steinbach woman has been fined $4,500 for her part in a “get-rich-quick” scheme that siphoned millions of dollars from investors across Canada.

Melinda Scheper, 48, pleaded guilty to promoting a pyramid scheme, a violation of the Competition Act.

Scheper was among 13 people arrested in January 2011 following complaints about a pyramid scheme targeting people in the Steinbach area.

Scheper made presentations at a number of information seminars between March 2008 and June 2009 promoting investment in a company called Business in Motion.
