Does not England have laws against pretense at legal documents and threats like this?
The fact that you sincerely and wholeheartedly believe that the “Law of Gravity” is unconstitutional and a violation of your sovereign rights, does not absolve you of adherence to it.

I'm sure that even if genuine £1m wouldn't bankrupt IDS.

I think the trouble would come if anyone tried to enforce it.

There's an offence of 'uttering a false instrument' which could conceivably cover this sort of thing but I very much doubt anybody would really care about the delusional ramblings of a certifiable internet lunatic.

We get this kind of thing from time to time at work addressed to our CEO accusing him of various crimes against humanity and claiming he owes millions in unpaid fines, etc. imposed by various nutters for imaginary sanctions they think are owed to them personally following the Govt bailout. We usually just acknowledge with the polite legal equivalent of "Yeah, thanks, we'll line the rabbit hutch with it". Then they often say they're going to their MP and we say "Go on, then, do we look bovvered ...?"

So this would probably have caused a chuckle in IDS' office, but nothing else.

Interspace cocoa is pretty good, especially on a frosty evening, but it's got a bit too much iridium for my digestive tract.

It seems that many FOI requests which have been answered are marked as long over due. Does anyone know if it is down to the person to make them as answered or not?

Either way she never seems happy about any of the responses. I'm going to settle down for a fun afternoon tomorrow to read them all and have a laugh :snicker:

ETA: For example

This has been marked as "awaiting internal review" however it has been reviewed and the decision was upheld

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... ment-24338

So I am led to assume that Yvonne has not updated the status in order to make it look like the requests are not being dealt with when in fact they are.

iain [sic] duncan smith was found guilty on the 18th april 2015 by a jury of eighty five [85] people,...
A jury panel of 85 people? Must have taken forever to get through voir dire.

The woo is powerful in this one. She seems to be involved with scientology too.

She also appears in one of the the amazing Mr Ebert's publications as a legal advisor or something.

I believe this is her.

Well, it would have been, but they were all clones, which sped up the process a bit.
